Sew sanitary pads

What can cause a girl to miss up to 50 days of school per year? Believe it or not, it's something as small as a menstrual pad. A Path Appears features Sustainable Health Enterprises (SHE), a nonprofit that partners with networks of women in Rwanda to make and sell "go!" mentrual pads made from banana leaves. Join their #smallthings campaign, and celebrate the #smallthings that help girls and their communities thrive.
Like SHE, Days for Girls International helps provide access to feminine hygiene solutions. Join Days for Girls' grassroots network of thousands of volunteers who create kits of washable cotton pads (which last up to three years) and underwear. These kits are distributed to girls worldwide.
